The Adaptive Adventure Sports Coalition (TAASC) is a nonprofit organization located in Columbus, Ohio. Established in 1992, TAASC provides opportunities for veterans, adults, and children with disabilities to participate in adventure sports activities.
About this Program
TAASC currently offers sports programs including: downhill skiing, water skiing, wakeboarding, kayaking, cycling, rock climbing, archery, fishing, paddle boarding, and sailing. Winter sports programs are operated at Snow Trails Ski Resort in Mansfield, Ohio, and Mad River Mountain Ski Resort in Valley Hi, Ohio.
The majority of summer sports take place at the headquarters along the Scioto River in Powell, Ohio. Through a partnership with the City of Columbus they have access to nearly 22 acres of beautiful land along the river for water sports and fishing.
The cycling program is taken on the road accommodating individuals, schools, and organizations.
