The Give A Lift Program is a volunteer‐based initiative that matches the elderly, disabled and disadvantaged with volunteer drivers who provide their own energy, vehicle and time to assist their fellow citizens in getting to medical appointments, the grocery store, the pharmacy and other destinations.
About this Program
Through The Give A Lift Program, volunteers provide services to "less mobile" citizens by driving them to doctor's appointments, grocery shopping and other life supporting activities. The program matches volunteers with individuals who require such services. Volunteers take care of fuel and car expenses.
