An Alliance of treatment centers throughout the state organized to prospectively assess clinical characteristics of MS patients.
About this Program
The New York State Multiple Sclerosis Consortium (NYSMSC) is a regional affinity group of 15 multiple sclerosis (MS) centers throughout New York State, organized to assess demographic and clinical characteristics of MS patients attending the Centers.
The Consortium has assembled a computer database containing 10,000 plus registrants and 17,200 plus follow-up visits through December 2012, allowing population-based research collaboration. Data continues to be gathered and analyzed, enhancing the ability of NYSMSC to better understand the disease process.
